About the publication

We write for people who suspect life is meant to be savoured, not optimised.

and who are tired of being shouted at by the internet

Books and two mugs on a wooden chair in warm window light
Our favourite kind of morning: unhurried, sunlit, offline.

“The Daily Good started with a question over coffee: what would the internet feel like if it wanted us to be well?”

June, founding editor

A slower kind of publishing

The Daily Good began in 2024 as a Sunday email to forty friends. No launch strategy, no funnel, just a letter about living deliberately, sent before breakfast. Friends forwarded it to friends, and somewhere along the way twelve thousand strangers started spending their Sunday mornings with us.

We remain deliberately small. Three editors, one illustrator, zero advertisers shouting over the text. Every issue is written by a human who drank too much coffee and stared out of a real window while thinking about it.

We don't want more of your attention. We want to deserve the little we ask for.

What we believe

  • Ordinary days are the main event. Milestones are just the confetti.
  • Attention is precious, so a publication should spend it like it is.
  • Kindness is a editorial position, not just a tone of voice.
  • Rest is productive. Play counts. Boredom is underrated.
  • The internet can be gentle. We're keeping the receipts every week.

If any of that sounds like your kind of Sunday, pull up a chair. The kettle's already on.
